My story

In the first week of February, Team London Scottish will embark on an extraordinary challenge, cycling from Dublin to Edinburgh to deliver the match-day ball for the highly anticipated Scotland vs. Ireland Six Nations rugby match at Murrayfield. This epic journey will see the team cover an incredible 830 miles in just 4 days, combining athletic endurance with a passion for making a difference.

Led by Iain Whyte, the cycling team includes John Williams, John Burns, Paul Burnell, Jan Joubert, Vitor Almeida, and Russell Kesley, supported by a dedicated crew of Kevin Burke and Sarah Baker.

Our mission is to raise much-needed funds for two vital causes:

  • My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, supporting the fight against Motor Neuron Disease.
  • The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which pioneers life-saving cancer treatment and research.

Your support will help us make a real impact in the lives of those affected by these devastating illnesses. Join us on this journey of hope and resilience as we push boundaries to make a difference.

Together, we can help change lives.
