The Irish Leg Crew are raising money for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation
DODDIE'S GRAND TOUR - THE IRISH LEG...
Who we are.... Some of us cycling the 120 odd miles from Dublin to Belfast have taken part in many events in support of the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and are back for more. "let's cycle in the middle of winter..." Sounds like fun... Varied cycling experience, but all doing it for a great cause.. The Irish Leg is the first part / section of Rob Wainwright's Grand Tour, which will cover 800 miles in 5 days arriving in time for the Scotland v Ireland 6-Nations match..
There are two stops along the way, where more cyclists are joining the peloton.. We are very fortunate to have the support from Tony McKeown, Boyne RFC: Tim Morton, Ballynahinch RFC and Dave Peden, CIYMS RFC who will keep the crew fed and watered..
Starting at Dublin - Guinness Brewery:
Dougie Thom, Stu Thom, Simon Danielli, June McMinn, Nigel Carr, Stephen Montgomery, Catriona Wheeler, Denis McBride and Darragh Frawley.
Starting at Drogheda, Boyne RFC:
Duncan Gleadhill, Ricky Adams, Michael Chambers, Dan McVicker, Andrew Balmforth
Mark Wilson, Sam McVicker, Jamie Watson and Andrew Hird.
Starting at Ballynahinch RFC:
Stevie Barlow and Paddy Johns.
If you wish to join at Dublin, Drogheda or Ballynahinch please drop me a note:
