My story
I am training for the 2nd Marathon, the Leeds "Rob Burrow" Marathon on the 12th May. Rob Burrow continues to inspire with his MND battle, also raising for Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity who supported a good friend of mine. I am a lifelong Rhinos fan and did the race last year my first attempt at a marathon, it was a warm day with a tough 3 mile incline at the 18 mile mark!
Then as part 2 of my challenge on 21-23 June, I will be climbing to the summit of Mount Toubkal at 4167m in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Accomodation is basic camping at 3000m altitude.
**Sadly Rob Burrow passed away on the 2nd June. I will be proud wearing the "Burrow 7" shirt to help me push on to the summit!
