Dwayne Takes on Ultra4 Charity Lapland

Imagine running 100 kilometres through the frozen wilderness of Lapland, Northern Sweden. Snow underfoot. Temperatures below – 25 degrees. Every step testing your body and your mindset.
Now imagine doing it not for yourself, but for every person living with and beyond cancer. That’s exactly what Dwayne Clevett is planning to do in January 2027.
As the lead cancer exercise trainer and Cancer United Dwayne is working every day with people rebuilding their strength, confidence, and lives after cancer.  He sees first hand the physical and emotional battles people face  and the incredible courage it takes to keep going.
Dwayne is now taking on a challenge of his own and has signed up for the 100km Lapland run as part of ULTRA4CHARITY, a charity founded by three ex-military guys James Fox of SAS Who Dares Wins, Richard French, and Brian Wood. 

This extreme endurance event brings together individuals pushing themselves to the limit to raise vital funds for four chosen charities, including our own Cancer United because cancer doesn’t stop when treatment ends. For many, that’s when the real journey begins, rebuilding strength, confidence, and identity.
Cancer United is there in those moments. Providing specialist exercise, community, and strength.

By supporting Dwayne, you’re not just helping him reach Lapland - you’re helping Cancer United continue transforming lives.
To take part in this challenge, Dwayne needs to raise funds to cover:

• Flights and travel
• Essential cold-weather kit
• A required £800 charitable contribution
