EAGB Christmas event in support of Ickle Pickles

Event date: 14th December 2023

Caren Ware on behalf of the EAGB is raising money for THE ICKLE PICKLE PARTNERSHIP LTD

My story

The EAGB is supporting Ickle Pickles as their chosen charity for Christmas 2023.
The Ickle Pickles Children's Charity aims to give every newborn a chance. There are over 90,000 babies born sick or prematurely in the UK every year. Many require Intensive or Special care in a neonatal unit. They are the only charity raising funds to donate intensive care equipment to neonatal units across England and Wales.
More and more babies than ever before require specialised care when they are born. Some are treated for a few days, others for several months and a small minority never make it home. The survival rate of a premature baby was below 50% in 1975 but in 2022, the survival rate was above 95%.
Ickle Pickles is the only charity that helps hospitals raise money to buy essential equipment for premature babies nationally.
