Chile Earthquake Relief

Elisa Education Trust has been helping underprivileged children and young adults in Chile, South America.

At 3.30am in Chile a huge earthquake destroyed many homes and killed over 700 people. The area affected by the earthquake was expansive and Elisa Education Trust's own volunteers over 250 miles from the epicentre itself were effected with the quake hitting local areas estimated at roughly 6 (richter scale).

Thankfully no serious damage was done and everyone is safe and well including associated volunteer projects in Valparaiso which was also hugely affected by the earthquake.

Unfortunately other areas of Chile have been badly effected and Elisa Education Trust and all its volunteers situated in Chile at the moment are focusing all their resources on helping the earthquake relief and organising aid to send to areas in need further down south.

We need all the help we can get to ensure that Chile's Children and future generations are helped through this national catastrophy.
