Elmo and Clare's Wagathon

Most people who read this will know how important Thrombosis UK the charity is to me, not only is it my employer but under the charities former name Lifeblood it assisted me in coming to terms with the many issues I have had over the years with my health and blood clots.
Recently my role was changed in the charity to Fundraising Administrator and being the type of person I am I have decided to lead by example and not only take part in a fundraising activity but also try and organise a virtual one, so here I am embarking (no pun intended) on the TUK Wagathon in August 22.

Myself and Elmo our lovely puppy are going to walk 9K (hopefully a little more) across the month of August and we shall wag our way around Liverpool. Now I can hear you all 9K is not a lot, however for a vast majority of blood clot survivors this can be and is a real challenge. Whether it be post PE breathlessness or post thrombotic syndrome the pain and the challenge to patients can be real. I am going to lead by example (having experienced the majority of clots and having severe post thrombotic syndrome) Inspiring our supporters to join in wherever they are, whoever they are with (a dog not necessarily required) and to #wagathonTUK and #Stepuptostopclots for Thrombosis Uk this August.
