Everest Base Camp Trek for Friends of the H.C.C.H.

Tom, Naomi, Chloe and myself (Will) are off on a little walk up to THE WORLD'S HIGHEST MOUNTAIN's base camp next April and we'd like you to help make it worth a whole lot more than just self-indulgent tourism! We're each aiming to raise £500 which will give a significant boost to those at the children's home.

Friends of the Himalayan Children's Care Home is a UK based charity that supports a wonderful home that resides in Pokhara, Nepal.

Being such a small charity, every penny you donate (besides a small fee to transfer the money) gets sent to our friends on the sub-continent, so you can be sure that you are helping provide essentials like food, bedding, clothes, utilities and education to much loved children from one of Nepal's poorest and isolated areas.

The 50+ children that live at the home all come from Mustang, which lies very close to the Tibetan border and is such a harsh environment, many of its inhabitants leave for 6 months during winter to find work when they can no longer farm their land.
