My story
My parish church, St. John Bosco, is in urgent need of our help. The church is in real danger of closure unless we can raise £250,000 to replace the roof.
Over the years, the parish has been a constant source of faith, friendship, and support for me through many of life's ups and downs. The church means so much to me and I know it has touched the lives of many others too. Now I would like to give something back to this wonderful community that has given me so much.
On 19 September 2026, I will be taking on a sponsored walk along the Thames Path, from Henley to Sonning and then on from Sonning to St. John Boso church, Woodley (12.5km), to help raise funds for this vital project.
I would be truly grateful for any donation, no matter how small. Every contribution will help keep our beloved parish church open for future generations. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
