Farnworth Kearsley Foodbank is raising money for Farnworth Baptist Church

My story

The Farnworth and Kearsley Foodbank provides much needed food and support to local people in crisis situations. By providing three days of food to people upon referral from a front-line care agency, people are given breathing space when times get tough. The Foodbank is reliant on food donations from individuals, groups, schools and churches to feed people in crisis. Money raised will go to support the work of the Farnworth and Kearsley Foodbank in opening new centres to ensure we are in walking distance of everyone who needs to use our services, in ensuring we have enough food to provide nutritionally balance food parcels, and to ensure that the work of the foodbank is sustainable long term, so that vital support will always be available. The Farnworth and Kearsley Foodbank is part of a network of foodbanks under the franchise, The Trussell Trust. The foodbank is run in partnership with local churches and is facilitated by Farnworth Baptist Church - monies raised through this page will go to Farnworth and Kearsley Foodbank.
