Our story
Challenge yourself and help us raise for St Austell Foodbank!
We all know we should be eating our ‘5 a day’ but our food banks are under increasing pressure to help support our local community.
So this February, walk, run, plod, cycle, swim, whatever your method, challenge yourself to 5…
5 kilometres
5 miles
5 laps around the block
...per day for at least 5 days in a row!
Instead of us collecting an entry fee, we are raising money for our community food bank, donations of any amount are gratefully received. It’s that simple, all you have to do is get up and out!
We would love you to hear your stories about your challenge and your progress so don’t forget to tag us on Facebook so we can share on our page.
Our physio John is running 5 laps of his usual 2.5km morning loop for 5 days every week!
So if you’re unable to take part in the challenge yourself then please donate to help keep him and our other participants going!
Let us know if you’re taking part and we will add your name into our virtual hat. At the end of February we’ll pick one name out of the hat and send a little thank you gift from us to you.
