Firewalking for Scouts

Hi there
I am doing a firewalk (walking barefoot over a short distance over hot coals at over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit!) to raise money for 2nd Beeston Sea Scouts. My son has been a member of 2nd Beeston Sea Scouts for several years and is now an Explorer. They are a great organisation and he's gained a huge amount being involved with them. They are halfway through raising money for a new scout hut to replace the current leaky one, so that more generations of young people can benefit from the opportunities offered by Scouting. And what better way to raise money than walking across hot coals on Beeston Marina? Wish me luck!
