My story
I'm taking part in the 5x50 Challenge again in 2014. This means I need to be active every single day for 50 days from 30th March to 18th May. Last year I covered over 400km over the 50 days of the challenge and this year I'm aiming for at least 500km - the equivalent of 10km per each.

This year, to give myself a bit more of a challenge, I have signed up for the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 5K race on 24th May. I'm not much of a runner, have never run outside, and can't go for 5km on a treadmill without stopping... but I've got 50 days to practice!
I'm raising funds for Dignity Alert & Research Forum who work to end Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Scotland, the UK, and globally. Please stop this terrible traditional practice from being carried out on women and girls living in Scotland.
