Ironmum attempt

This Sunday I will be attempting to complete the Outlaw, which is an ironman distance triathlon. It's a 2.4 mile open water swim, 112 miles on the bike, then a 26.2 mile run. It's WAY harder than anything I've tried before, so seemed like a good opportunity to raise some money for charity.
I came across First Story recently when I visited a school for children excluded from mainstream schools, and was really impressed. The kids told me how they didn't think they'd be able to achieve in the beginning, and they were really proud of themselves (in some cases for the first time).
First Story brings professional writers into secondary schools serving low-income communities to work with teachers and students to foster creativity and communication skills. The kids I met had their work brought together into a book which was published and they were off to sell copies locally.
