Taking on the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours wasn’t something I signed up for lightly.
Anyone who knows me knows I believe strongly in doing things with purpose. So this challenge isn’t just about ticking off Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in one very long day — it’s about why we’re doing it, and who we’re doing it for.
As a team from C2C Group, we’ve chosen to take on this challenge in support of Flipside CIC — an organisation that does genuinely life-changing work for people and communities who often fall through the cracks. Flipside doesn’t just talk about support; they show up, consistently, compassionately, and with real impact. That matters deeply to me.
The Three Peaks will push us physically and mentally. There will be moments of doubt, sore legs, lack of sleep, cold winds, and probably some very honest conversations at 3am in a minibus somewhere between mountains. But in many ways, that discomfort is the point. It’s a reminder that growth rarely happens in comfort — something we talk about often at C2C, but this time we’re living it.
Doing this as a team is what makes it special. C2C Group is built on people — on showing up for one another, on shared values, and on doing the right thing even when it’s hard. This challenge reflects that. We’ll climb every peak together, pace each other when it gets tough, and remind each other why we started when the finish line feels far away.
For me personally, this challenge is about gratitude and responsibility. Gratitude for having the health, strength, and support network to even attempt something like this — and responsibility to use that privilege to give back in a meaningful way.
Every step we take over those 24 hours is for Flipside CIC and the incredible work they do. If our aching legs and tired smiles help raise awareness, funds, or even just spark one conversation about the importance of community support, then every blister will be worth it.
Three mountains. One team. One cause that truly matters.
