Remembering Affolake

Ok everyone so I’ve probably just signed up for the craziest thing I’ll ever do…..

So in loving memory of my beautiful best friend Affolake I have have decided to mark what would of been her 40th birthday on 14th May by doing a charity sky dive. I will be raising money for a charity very close to Aff’s heart SHINE Cancer support!
After Aff’a diagnosis of breast cancer in July 2021 she found comfort & strength in SHINE, a cancer support group for young adults in there 20s, 30s & 40s.
This charity gave invaluable support to Aff from the beginning to the very end. The love, support, advice and friendships formed through this were invaluable and even in her own time of need inspired Aff to give back to others she had met through the charity in similar situations through her own love & passion of dance.

Aff was truly 1 of a kind, she would light up a room with her positivity, the life and soul of the party! She was the most selfless, caring, inspirational woman I’ve ever met and I was blessed to have had 35 years of friendship and memories with this incredible woman. Everyone that ever had the opportunity to of met Aff will know what a huge hole she has left in so many peoples hearts.

I’m asking you all no matter how big or small to make a donation in Aff’s name so that her name can live on through the work of this amazing charity 💙
