Sian Tate is raising money for Marwell Wildlife and Motor Neurone Disease Association
My story
On Friday 10th May I will be running a half marathon and raising money in memory of my Aunty Jan ❤️ and also making a contribution of the pennies I raise to the MND Association inspired by Rob Burrow CBE 💙🧡.
As I will be working at AMT Headingley Stadium for the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday 12th May, which is the start and finish for the big event, I am undertaking my own half marathon on Friday 10th May.
I will be doing a route that is similar to the main half marathon course. The last time I did a half marathon was May 2023….🙈
My Aunty Jan unfortunately passed away suddenly at the start of 2024. A lady with a heart of gold, an incredibly kind nature and a listening ear. Always had time for everyone and was so thoughtful and generous. She made our wedding cake which was totally amazing - her baking was outstanding ❤️
A charity close to her heart was Marwell Wildlife and I want to be able to support that charity in her memory.
