My story
Granny Mair of Darvel was an avid horticulturalist who raised an orchard in Robertson Gardens.
Every year she produced a glut of fruit that was gladly shared with family and friends.
She sadly succumbed to cancer in August 2026.
This year, with your help, we will turn the excess fruit into donations for the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research to help in the fight against cancer.
