Fynn BICA 2023 Challenge

Fynn Argue-Tuitt is raising money for Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal

My story

Hi, my name is Fynn I am 12 years of age and I am a member of the Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal (BICA). During my school summer holidays, I will be taking part in the BICA Charity Bike Ride, 909kms up the West Coast of Ireland from Mizen Head to Malin Head in company of 31 other cyclists. We will be cycling for 6 days through a total of 8 Counties. This involves 28,000ft of climbing. 19 category 4 climbs (up to 500ft elevation) and 6 category 3 climbs (up to 1,500ft elevation).

I have only been training for a few weeks as I have been so busy playing Gaelic football for St Brendan’s which is my first love. I have decided to do the ride this year as my grandad Joe, my mum Caroline, auntie Ceranda and 2 cousins Oisin and Leo are taking part. I am really looking forward to the challenge and the scenery I have been told is breathtaking. I know it will be tough but I am very excited to be part of BICA.
We are going to be raising money for several incredible charities and causes. With your kind support, we can raise vital funds and create lasting change in the lives of those who need it most.

This year we are raising money for:

  • Midwifery Bereavement Facilities (Birmingham Women’s & UHCW Hospitals)
  • Birmingham Hospice
  • Soft UK
  • Kingsbury SEN Academy
  • Orlatih Quinn
  • Laura Lynn Hospice
  • BUMBLEance
  • Buncrana Children’s Charity

Any donation, big or small, goes direct to our chosen charities and makes a huge difference. If you would like to sponsor me, you can do so by clicking on the link below. Every penny raised goes to the charities. Please remember to tick the gift aid option at no extra cost, that allows tax relief and additional funds to the charities. Thank you very much 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal.
