Fynns Mizen Head to Malin Head Cycling Challenge

Event dates: Friday 17th July – Friday 24th July

In July 2026, the Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal will be completing a 565 mile cycle along Irelands West Coast, from Mizen Head to Malin Head.

🚴 Charity Cycle Ride for Maeve Fanning 🚴

I am the youngest member of BICA and my grandad Joe Argue is the oldest.  I am very proud to be part of this amazing group of people who volunteer their own time and money to raise funds for great causes.

This year, I am taking on an incredible challenge to help support Maeve Fanning with her cancer treatment.

Together with 60 fellow cyclists, I will be cycling 600 miles from the very bottom of Ireland to the very top in just 6 days. It will be a demanding journey, but every mile is for a cause that truly matters.

Maeve’s courage and determination throughout her treatment have been inspiring, and I would love to do my part to help ease the financial burden she and her family are facing.
