Gabriel Odey is raising money for No Limits
I have never really had to run continuously for more than 3km, either because I never thought I could or because I just could not be bothered. I am 29 years old and I wanted to do something different for a change so I decided to join the running team at work. After my first run with the team I tried to convince myself that perhaps this change was not for me. However, friends and family encouraged me to continue running so I signed up for my first ever running challenge (The Grim Challenge) which was basically an 8 mile run with obstacles. During my training for the Grim challenge I was only able to run about 5 miles at a stretch but I was amazed that I was actually able to complete the challenge under 01:15mins.
When the opportunity to run for a charity came up I again thought to myself I want to do something different for a change! Therefore I am attempting to run the Southampton half marathon on the 24th of April 2016 to raise money for an amazing charity named NO LIMITS. My target is to raise £300 which would all go to this charity. Your kind donations would be appreciated.
Thank you all for your support.
