Event dates: 15th November 2017 – 15th January 2018

Gail Mohamed is raising money for The James Gillespie's Trust (Scotland)

My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm raising funds to support schoolchildren in the South African township of Umlazi, near Durban.

The challenge? I'm losing it!! The equivalent of every pound of bodyweight lost over the next 8 weeks will be added to a weightlifting challenge during the week of 15 January 2018. My baseline lift is 100kgs.

Here's an update: facebook.com/mhairiframept/videos/932808280214415/

James Gillespie's High School in Edinburgh has for many years been part of a Global Citizenship project in partnership with Zwelibanzi and Dloko High Schools in Umlazi township, South Africa.

Staff and students from the school raise funds and collect donations annually to support the development of the South African schools and participate in an annual visit to Durban.

Funds raised previously have been used for teaching resources, funding a soup kitchen, supporting the Bobbi Bear charity for abused children and given South African high school pupils the chance to visit Edinburgh to strengthen cultural links.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto The James Gillespie's Trust (Scotland).
