Remembering Alex

It has been two and a half years since my family lost Alex. Although life has carried on, we all still carry that grief with us everyday. Losing Alex was horrific and it is still something I find difficult to comprehend.

This charity was part of an organised attempt to find Alex and bring us some closure. It is made up solely of volunteers and relies on charitable donations. They train relentlessly and operate 24/7. Every minute they give to bring closure or peace to families is given freely and willingly.

It is a charity I was completely unaware of before and is now something I owe a lot to.

I am running a half-marathon and will attempt to crawl over the finish line. I have even borrowed a training plan from a family friend that I am following.
