Ghouls Mag - Movie Marathon for Mental Health

Ghouls is an online magazine that showcases the very best in horror, written through the female perspective.
Horror holds us in our darkest moments and helps us process life events and anxieties in a safe and protective environment. The screams offer us a refuge and fear acts as a reassuring anchor. In short, horror is therapy. Through the connections we make with the horror films we love and with the creators in the community, we feel seen, heard and understood. Whether it is watching our worst fears played out on screen, seeing our own lived experiences reflected back at us or building friendships and collaborations with others, one thing is for sure, the power of community counts.

So, we're calling on the horror community to support us in raising money for Women at Wish - a user-led women's mental health charity developing pioneering support services for under-served women and campaigning together for social justice. On Friday 13 May, we are completing a 24-hour horror movie marathon, and inviting everyone to watch along and discuss with us across our social media channels.

Women at Wish offer a number of services including:
• Free or low-cost open-ended counselling
• Assistance with moving from prison and hospital into the community
• Emotional support listening and a safe and secure place to share what’s going on in their lives without fear of judgement
• Equipping women with the power to advocate for themselves
