Little Troopers charity Snowdon fundraiser

So, I'm dragging my lad Ned up a mountain in September to join my gorgeous friend Louise on her bi annual trek to the top of Mount Snowdon to raise much needed funds for her amazing charity Little Troopers.

Little Troopers is a wonderful charity that provides support to ALL military children. It was the ONLY one last time I checked.

Military children go through A LOT. They move house and school regularly, often to different sides of the country...or even abroad.

Imagine if your child had to re adjust to new friends, new routines, new teachers, clubs and surroundings every few years; often with a parent away in a 'scary' place. It's pretty naff!

It's not as easy as ' well don't have kids then if you're in the Army...'

Without military families, our armed forces would be a fraction of the size it is today - these kids never asked to make these sacrifices so that this country could remain defended and we could all continue to enjoy the liberty that we have today. If you have children who have a lovely settled upbringing, with the same group of friends they met in primary school and see their nannas, grandads, aunts and uncles regularly, then this is, in part, thanks to the military parents who's loyalty to their children is only closely matched by their loyalty to their country.

They / we do it so you don't have to!

I cannot express how amazing these kids are, and how important I believe it is that Little Troopers exists to recognise how special they are and provide much needed support.
