My story
On 1st July 2021, a unique golf challenge will be attempted for the very first time.*
Details:
• 6 Friends – Chris, James, Sham, Piers, Nick F, Nick M.
• 4 courses – Eaton, Upton, Chester & Vicars Cross
• 99 holes
• Total distance – 33,032 yards
• Total no. of swings – 3500+
• Players under Par - 0
• **All carrying 14 club bags (10kg)
• DeChambeau inspired 4am start
The motivation behind this page is a special one…
We are doing this in memory of my wonderful mother-in-law, Kim Edwards, who we lost on New Year’s Eve 2020.
During her battle with Cancer, Kim was given a “Bucket List” experience from the Yolo Jo’s Charity – please read more about this amazing charity here.
This was a special memory and we want to raise as much as possible to enable more bucket list experiences for the terminally ill.
In these difficult times, any support is appreciated.
