LPT Gondar Ethiopia Mental Health Group is raising money for Health Action Leicester for Ethiopia (HALE)
My story
Mental health staff in Leicester are working as part of Health Action Leicester for Ethiopia ( HALE) to develop mental health services in Gondar Ethiopia. We have been involved in training staff and are raising money to build a psychiatric ward. We have raised nearly £40,000 and need £10,000 to finish the ward. We have plans to also develop a community service and a rehabilitation service which will provide employment opportunites for people with mental health problems and provide support to their families.
