My story
This will be my hat-trick of Triathlons and i'm going for my best time to date.
2006 - 5hrs something, 2013 - 3hrs 18 mins.
Sunday 3rd August 2014 ???.
After the last one I promised there would be no re-match. There ain't gonna be no re-match. But you can't keep us athletes down. It's in our blood, we need a challenge.
As a warm up I took part in a 1 hr sponsored charity swim on 11th June and in this time completed 3000m which was 100 lengths of the pool. This was good training for the triathlon swim which is 1500m.
This year I will be raising money for two Charities; Your Community Health & Wellbeing (no. 1154249) that raises much needed funds to help improve the living standards, health and wellbeing of those living in deprived areas of London & Save the Children (savethechildren.org.uk)
All proceeds raised will be distributed equally between the two charities.
