Monika Kelly is raising money for Grapevine Essex
Grapevine Essex is a charity providing supported outings and activities for adults with learning disabilities. During lockdown, we are providing free online activities 2-3 times weekly consisting of Art & Craft, Quizzes, Bingo, Baking, Virtual Tours, Dancing & Singing lessons and Exercise routines.
Monika Kelly is Grapevine Essex's Treasurer. She will be participating in a 100-mile Charity Bike Ride to raise funds for Grapevine Essex. The Challenge will take place on 2nd August 2020 and she will be cycling from Southminster - Cambridge - Southminster.
Due to restrictions still in place limiting the number of people allowed to take part in an organised event, we regret that we’re not able to invite volunteers to join her on the journey. However, members and their families are very welcome to join in 'virtually' by riding their bike in their own time, on their own route and of course collect sponsors.
Please contact jackie@grapevineessex.org.uk for a Sponsor Form.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Grapevine Essex.

She did it!!! What an amazing achievement. xx
Message from Monika:
The bike ride went fine. I still feel well and don't ache anywhere.
I had nice weather all the way but got lost in the woods after being told to get off someone's farm and had to climb through a ditch full of stinging nettles to get on the road again.
I was met by my family in Cambridge, had a drink and cycled back home. I was given a lift for 20 miles away from Cambridge to avoid before said woods :)
I managed 120 miles in 10 hours.

Many thanks to all our sponsors; so far we have raised £110. Monika's 100-mile cycling challenge is just a week away now, please show your support.
