Great North Run 2025 - Raising Money for Pathways 4 All

This September, I’ll be taking on the Great North Run to raise money for Pathways 4 All—a North East charity that’s incredibly close to my heart.

Pathways 4 All is a parent-led charity that provides vital play and leisure services for disabled children and young people across the North East. Based at the Tim Lamb Children’s Centre, they support hundreds of families from Tyne & Wear, Northumberland, County Durham, and beyond—offering everything from inclusive holiday playschemes and youth clubs to sibling support groups and family events.

I had the privilege of working at Pathways 4 All as a Playworker, and I’ve seen firsthand the difference this charity makes. The team creates a space where children with disabilities can play freely, build friendships, grow in confidence, and feel safe just being themselves. It’s not just a place for the children—it’s a support system for the entire family.

What makes your support even more important is that Pathways 4 All receives no statutory funding, so your support can make a real difference to the activities and facilities they are able to offer—and for many families, these services are a lifeline.
