Great North Run 2026 - The Meadows

The Meadows Community Centre is a charity at the heart of Meadow Well, North Shields, supporting people of all ages to live happier, healthier and more connected lives. Based in one of the most disadvantaged communities in North Tyneside, we provide a wide range of services and activities that help people overcome challenges such as poverty, poor mental health, social isolation, unemployment and long-term health conditions. From supporting children and families, older adults and people with access needs, to providing wellbeing activities, employability support, community gardens, creative arts and music projects, we work every day to help local people build confidence, develop new skills and reach their potential. Josh and Paul are running this year's Great North Run with every pound raised from this donation page helping us to continue creating opportunities, strengthening our community, and ensuring that support is available to those who need it most.
