Hair donation & PINNT awareness

In November 2021, I made my first hair donation to The Little Princess Trust. My goal was simple: to bring joy to a child who had lost their hair due to cancer or other reasons. Although the child who received my hair will never know who I am, I found comfort in knowing that my donation could provide them with a sense of peace and identity. And for me, I knew in time I could grow my hair back.
This time, my mission is even more significant. While bringing a smile to a child’s face is epic in itself and incredibly rewarding, I also want to raise awareness about artificial nutrition and the incredible work PINNT (Patients on Intravenous and Nasogastric Nutrition Therapy) is doing. This charity supports individuals who rely on artificial nutrition, whether it’s oral, enteral (through the stomach or bowel), or parenteral (intravenous).
Now, nearly four years after my initial hair donation, it’s time to give back to the charity that supported me when I needed it most – PINNT – and once again to support The Little Princess Trust. I believe it’s time for someone else to benefit from my hair, and I hope to inspire others to support this vital cause.
