Hannah does Manchester Marathon
Hannah Saunders is raising money for Our Barn Community
My story
I’m taking on my first marathon and heading north for it, I’ll be taking in the sites of Manchester over the 26.2 miles.
I will be running to support a charity that many of you know is close to my heart, Our Barn Community. Starting off as a Sunday youth club to offer a safe and social place for young people aged 15-25 with additional needs to bridge the gap between school and adulthood.
The local charity has grown amazingly offering many more fantastic projects such as multi sports, improving fitness and healthy lifestyles, Our Futures upskilling individuals to help them find employment. gardening, film club and most recently a super club.
All money raised will go directly to the charity and help continue to build further opportunities for the young people within the Our Barn Community and building healthier and happier lives.

Wow, I've done it! 26.2 miles competed. I got a time of 4.16, which I'm pretty pleased with.
A huge thank you for all the sponsorship, this will make a huge difference to the Our Barn Community enabling them to add on some extra sports sessions, get some equipment or many other things that will directly affect the young people we are working with as well as giving some rest to their families. Thank you again, it really kept me going.
Hi all, so like so many others retraining is well underway, after a 17 mile run today training is going well!
Like many charities funding has be altered, cancelled and changed and it is no different to Our Barn, with this there are projects which offer vital training and skills to the young people enabling thrm to find vulenterring or paid worked opportunities.
