Ride London / Surrey 100 2016

You may know me as Scout Leader with 1st Headcorn Scouts or owner of PS Autoparts Ltd in Headcorn.

Early on Sunday 31st July 2016 I will set off on the 100 mile route that takes me down to Surrey, up the infamous Box Hill and back to the finish on The Mall in London, a distance of 100 miles.
There will be about 22,000 riders taking part, it's a bit like the London Marathon, but on bikes. We will have to put in a good time because there will be a professional race over the same course in the afternoon.

Where does the money come from?
I am going to do my best to raise at least £1000 in sponsorship.

Why?
Back in 2008 the Headcorn Scout Group needed to raise £300,000 to build the new Scout Hut. Although it is finished and we have now finished paying for it, we have neglected to update some of our equipment. Any money raised will go towards updating our kit..
