My story
Hello, my name is Michelle and I work in the gym at Headway North Staffs. Headway is a rehabilitation centre that supports people following a brain injury. The aim is to enhance life skills and regain independence.
Our gym service provides high quality, specialist neurological rehabilitation to adults who have experienced an acquired brain injury. With an emphasis on person-centred care to ensure rehabilitation is responsive to the needs of the individual.
I have decided to complete the 'Headway Snowdon Treck' in honour of all of the service users at Headway. Their strength and determination inspires me everyday to push myself to achieve. They are all truly wonderful, despite their lives completely changing, they are still able to find the motivation to progress forward.
