Hike Against Poverty Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

My story

On Saturday 10th September, myself and other colleagues from Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP will be taking part in the Hike Against Poverty Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, on behalf of Leeds North and West Foodbank. This will see us take on Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, Ingleborough and everything in between, covering roughly 24 miles (and a whole lot of ups and downs) in under 12 hours.

Food bank use is becoming more and more important to millions of people across the UK in the current climate, with record increases in the amounts of people relying on them in order to be able to feed both themselves, and their families.

The 10th of September will also be my 24th birthday, and so it feels quite apt to be spending it walking 24 miles for such an important cause.
