Rowena is raising money for WYLAM FIRST SCHOOL PTA
Wylam Mum's High Tri 2011

My story
On the 17th/18th June a dozen or so mums from Wylam attempted to complete our own version of "The Highest Tri". We were challenged but not beaten!
Not only did we swim the highest tarn in the country (Red Tarn), cycle the highest pass (Kirkstone) and climb the highest mountain (Scafell) . . . we also had a pint in the highest pub. Now that HAS to be worth a few pounds from you all . . .
Most of us are not all round athletes and most of us were dreading one stage or another (if not all of it!). But we all achieved what we set out to do and we all got home safely.
We did this in support of Wylam First School PTA's fund raising for a climbing frame for the nursery. Thank you for supporting us and our school.
