Support Social Enterprise in Zambia

Help make a difference in the lives in Sub Saharan Africa. HOPE worldwide, a charity international development agency, together with a British entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr. Steve Clark have embarked on an ambitious journey in creating a number of social enterprises starting in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia.

These programs are designed to create new sustainable small businesses, and economically empower the owner-operators, their immediate families and staff. With carefully thought-out management and training programs and a little initial investment these programs will have a big impact in the Kalingalinga and Mutandere districts.

From there early experiences the idea is to use the proceed of the social enterprise back to generating more varied businesses and also expanding the reach of the already successful business to other parts of Lusaka, other town in Zambia as well to other countries in Sub Saharan Africa.

We are excited to support Steve and his family as they move to Zambia this August 2015 and take up the Zambia country manager position at HOPE worldwide. All the donations are going directly to the programs, and help facilitate fund raising and grant applications to larger corporate and public donors and grant makers.

Our combined personal target at this stage is to raise one thousand pounds, which with GiftAid comes close to two thousand dollars - well enough to get the initial funding and grant writing started properly!
