Our story
I will be riding an adapted HS2 route to raise money for Debra The Butterfly Skin Charity.
DEBRA is a UK national medical research charity and patient support organisation for people living with the very rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition, epidermolysis bullosa (EB) also known as ‘butterfly skin'.
Our Son Marc was born in June 2022 and shortly after birth was diagnosed with Recessive Distrophic EB. The charity has provided amazing support to the whole family after the shock of his diagnosis and continue to offer advice and will do throughout his life.
