Hyrox for Andy

I’m doing the London HYROX in memory of my dear friend Andy Sarsby, whose legacy continues through The Andy Sarsby Foundation. Andy was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in December 2019 at just 27 and tragically passed later that year. He was known for his humour, his kindness, and the way he lifted everyone around him.

HYROX is a demanding fitness race which fuses heavy functional workouts with high-intensity running into one intense, full-body endurance test.

Andy always called me “the Hulk,” so doing the HYROX is my way of carrying that spirit - doing something tough, bold, and full of heart, just like he lived.

Andy lived his life helping others. As a talented hairdresser, he created Hair Unite, ran the London Marathon for charity, supported the homeless community, and brought joy to anyone who needed it. Even during his months in hospital, he made every visitor feel welcome and every staff member feel like a friend. His impact is still being felt today through his foundation. 

I am incredibly proud to support The Andy Sarsby Foundation, which has already achieved so much: providing services and support for cancer patients, funding equipment that improves recovery and comfort, helping the homeless community, and finding countless small ways to bring dignity and normality to those who need it most.
