Illusion Gymnastics Club SCIO - Gymnastique Magique Competition

Illusion GC are raising funds to attend an International Competition in Paris called Gymnastique Magique. The event will take place over the weekend of 9th October 2025 to 13th October 2025.
The Club is based in SPYF Molendinar Community Centre, Provanmill, Glasgow. Provanmill is a very deprived area of Glasgow and the club are providing affordable classes to the local community to support children and limit their time spent on the streets.
‘People in the most deprived areas are much less likely to be active. They are much more likely to be inactive, doing less than 30 minutes of activity each week.
People in the most deprived areas are much less likely to be involved in clubs (9%) or high performance sport (7%).’

This competition is a once in a lifetime opportunity for some of our gymnasts and the club would like to support our gymnasts and families to fulfil their dreams in attending.
37 gymnasts from Illusion GC, aged between 7 and 22 years will be attending the event, accompanied by 3 coaches. The gymnasts will be training 1.5 hours per week to prepare. They will participate in a variety of categories, where they will compete against gymnasts from all around the world.
The Club and members will be taking part in a variety of fundraising event throughout the year and we would greatly appreciate any support provided.
