In Loving Memory of Elaine Hillam

7th July 1960 – 18th May 2026

Our beautiful Wife, Mum, Nanny, Sister and Auntie, who was taken from us far too soon. 🤍

During a very painful time, Elaine was cared for by the exceptional team at The Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract. The compassion, dignity, and warmth they extended to Elaine and our entire family is something we will never forget, and we cannot thank them enough.

Elaine’s wish was to be cremated without a formal service. Instead, we will be taking her home to Cornwall to scatter her ashes on Porth Beach—a place where she spent so many beautiful, happy days making memories with her family.

To honour her memory, we are raising funds to support three incredible charities. All donations will be split evenly between:

The Prince of Wales Hospice – for the invaluable care they provide to families like ours.

Breast Cancer Now – celebrating Elaine’s strength as a breast cancer survivor.

Prostate Cancer UK – in gratitude for the successful treatment of her husband, Nidge.

Elaine was a warrior. On top of her incredibly brave battle with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, she overcame so much in life. We want to turn our grief into something positive by supporting the causes that touched her life and ours.
