Our story
Our dearest Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in May 2025, after a long and difficult stretch of not knowing what his symptoms were shaping into. He suffered a great deal but fought with the utmost bravery until the very end, just shy of his 75th birthday.
Throughout this time, we had incredible support and love from all those involved with The Matt Gallagher Foundation, and for that we are truly grateful. In honour of Dad’s courage and in recognition of the support we received, we would like to raise funds in his name.
Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly to The Matt Gallagher Foundation (Charity no. 1207541). It will help provide grants, practical help, and emotional support to others who are facing this cruel disease.
By giving, you are helping to carry forward Dad’s legacy of love and strength, bringing comfort and hope to others who are walking a similar path.
