Brian Robertson was a Director of Fife Employment Access Trust and a driving force in making our plans to revitalise Silverburn Park come to fruition.
Brian moved to Leven when he retired. He had enjoyed a 27-year career in the Army, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. He then spent 10 years as a freelance project manager in IT and business change.
He decided to get involved in Silverburn Park in 2012 after many dog walks in the area. At the time he said: “I thought it was a great shame that the park had become neglected.”
As well his focus on supporting the Park strategically, Brian also got hands-on doing everything from installing CCTV cameras to event stewarding, litter-picking and was our resident tour guide!
Brian's untimely death in February 2023 means he won't see the final result of his hundreds of hours of volunteering, which is deeply saddening to everyone connected to the organisation and the Park.
To mark the first anniversary of his passing, we wish to install a memorial bench in Brian's honour and are seeking contributions towards the cost of purchase and installation.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Fife Employment Access Trust.

Thanks so much for all the donations - we have bought a beautiful bench and had a plaque engraved, will be installed in the walled garden before the end of the month - thanks so much once again!
