Sending lots of love to Kate’s family and friends - I will always remember working with her at Hessle High and her support when I was training to be a teacher and in those early years of teaching and I was inspired by her passion and skills in the classroom and there’s a bit of Kate and her influence in my classroom every time I’m teaching too. Xx

Although we didn't know Kate, our dear friend, Suzanne, always spoke of her with love and pride. It is clear from all these heartfelt tributes, that Kate touched many lives with her enthusiasm and encouragement. Philomena, Micheal & Ellie

Thinking of Josh, Ethan and all Kate’s family and sending gentle hugs. Kate was a very special person who brightened the lives of all who met her. She was so caring, particularly towards her students. I remember her telling James to pop and see her when he started A levels at her school. We will miss you Kate.
