If everyone reached out and helped another human being by supporting, teaching, sharing, listening, caring, the world and all who live in it would be a much much better place.

My campaign aims to raise awareness and money for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award International Association, a fabulous charity running non-formal educational programmes to all 14 to 25 years old's regardless of background and circumstance. Just one pound or 2 dollars will buy a record book, a resource enabling the young person to record their experiences and achievements, encouraging them to see the merit behind what they are doing and help keep them motivated whilst obtaining their Award. The Award is well known by Universities, employers and companies and is a beneficial way for young people to learn new skills, get involved in their community, experience adventure, get fit and above all learn self confidence and a skills that will not only benefit their life (themselves, family and community) but also their future employee.

Already participated in by 6,000,000 worldwide the Award, founded in 1956, has benefited these young people by creating opportunities for them to experience new ways of doing things, new ways to connect with each other and their community and new ways to make a difference to themselves, their lives and those of others.

Currently operating in 130 counties and participated in by over 800,000 young people in favellas in Brazil, slums in India, schools, universities, youth groups, prisons and companies can you afford not to be part of this amazing opportunity to make a difference reaching out to youth across the globe?

Continually seeking ways to reach more young people and new partners who are open to the challenege of running the Programme, the Award needs your help.

Please make a donation today - £1 can buy a record book, £50 can pay for rent for premises for a month in a developing country and £100 can buy expedition equipment for a group of young people in Africa/India/Brazil - providing shelter, food and equipment for them on their journey for instance.
