Iona’s running the marathon

I have decided to run the London Marathon this year. With only 4 weeks of training, it’s a big challenge, but one that I will do my best to complete and enjoy! After a tough couple of years, it feels great to push myself again and work my way through a somewhat intensive training plan!! But London here I come!!! 🏃‍♀️

I’ve decided to use this opportunity to raise money for the National Association of Blood Bikes (NABB). This charity is made up entirely of volunteers, who provide a vital rapid response medical transportation service to support the NHS. Members transport blood, platelets, samples, medical instruments, human donor milk and many other urgent clinical products throughout the UK and Ireland. All of their members are unpaid volunteers, providing this service to the NHS for free, and the charity relies entirely on donations.
