Isabella is raising money for Friends of the Peak District
My story
Friends of the Peak district is a great local charity which works to protect the Peak District national park. They campaign against things like 4x4 offroading, champion positive environmental measures like micro-hydro, organise volunteer conservation work, and do interesting events on everything from local ice-cream to bee keeping. I'm going to be joining in a 7.5 mile sponsored walk to help raise funds for them, (there is a 15 mile one available - but I'm afraid I'm not going there!). The walk is from Thornbridge Hall and celebrates the 60th anniversary of the uniquely beautiful Peak District Park. All donations will go towards the work of the charity - thanks!
