Sarah Lewis is raising money for Pathways 4 All
Jack and Archie will be taking part in this year's JNR/MINI GNR which is a 4km run. This is the first time the boys have been part of this event and at 10 and 6 year's old are very excited to helping a local charity Pathways 4 All
Pathways 4 All is seen as a lifeline to many parents who struggle to take their children to mainstream play spaces due to physical barriers and poor social attitudes in the wider community. We had over 2000 families access our Centre in the last year, along with special needs schools, social services nurses and charities that support disabled children in different ways, visited our Centre for respite and weekly outings.
The building which was an old disused isolation hospital is now a modern, wonderful, vibrant, busy, fun-filled Centre fully adapted to meet the needs of our children with any disability or additional need aged 0-25.
Pathways 4 All is a parent led charity, which provides play and leisure opportunities for disabled children/young people and their families. Based at the Tim Lamb Centre, we provide a wide range of play opportunities including soft play, trampolines, sensory room and large outdoor play area. The Centre is staffed 7 days a week.
