Jack Bennett and James Lockwood is raising money for The James Burke Foundation
My story
We are participating in this marathon to raise money and awareness for the James Burke Foundation.
Sadly, James Burke took his own life in 2017. The James Burke Foundation was established in 2018 by Sharon Burke in memory of her son James, who was a student at the University of Leeds and a player at the University of Leeds Men's Rugby League club. The Foundation aims to raise awareness of men's mental health and combat the stigma surrounding it, all in an effort to ensure that these issues are properly understood.
It is an amazing charity, and we are very proud to support it as President and Club Secretary of the University of Leeds Men's Rugby League club. The money raised will help the Foundation continue their campaign and education efforts, supporting those with poor mental health
